Overview:This is a 12 week challenge to lose the most amount of weight and inches. Competition begins June 2nd and ends on August 27th (Possibly September 3rd based on vacation schedules). If you would like to buy in and be qualified for the Weekly Weight Winner prizes and Grand Prize of over $1000, there is a buy in fee of $100 due by July 1st.
75% of the joining fee will go to the GRAND PRIZE WINNER!
25% will be used to buy prizes, awards, and parties.
Example:10 people join (We have 14 already) at $100 each= $1000
At 25% to prizes= $250
At 75% means $750 GRAND PRIZE!!!!
The more people that join, the lower the percentage towards prizes and higher percentage towards the grand prize.
The Grand Prize Winner will be decided upon by your percentage of pounds lost combined with the percentage of inches lost, divided by two.
If you would like to forfeit the grand prize and qualify only for the Weekly Weight Winner, the buy in is $20.
If you would like to simply participate and forfeit all prizes, except beads, you are welcome.
Each Week:Weigh in every week, measure the first Thursday of each month.
Weekly prizes will be based on pounds lost only.
New theme and challenge each week.
A different person will be asked to share their “Words of Wisdom” with the group each week. Sharing what they are doing, or some tips to help eachother out.
Weekly, you will earn beads to put on your lanyards to chart your progress.

Weekly Weight Winner prizes are starting to come in from the community, including Outside In, Subway, The RAC, and also things such as a weeks worth of snacks.
Group Activities:We will be having two movie nights at Kayanna's. Everyone will be asked to bring their favorite healthy snack to share.
We will be having a party at the end of the competition to celebrate our awesomeness!!
Tuesday mornings at 10 AM, we will meet at Canyon Rim Park and walk to Sam Johnson Park and back which is approximately 5 miles. This trail is paved, great for bikes, strollers, skates, etc.
Saturday mornings at 8AM, we will be hiking the Cline Buttes west of Redmond. The first month we will hike the first, adding a butte each month. We will also shake it up some weeks and do Misery Ridge, Monkey Face, Black Butte, etc. The goal is to work up to championing South Sister the first week of September!

T-shirts will be made, preview and price to follow. At which time we will have a bedazzle party to cutie-pie up our shirts.
Rules:Weigh in every Thursday. If you can not be there for a weigh in, you will not be qualified for that Weekly Weight Winner prize or the following week's weight prize.
Example:
Weight week 7 you weigh 189 lbs. Miss week 8. Weight week 9 you weigh 180 lbs.
Because weight for week 8 was not taken, if we counted 9 pounds lost week 9, that person would most likely win. Sorry, not fair!
You will not be disqualified from the grand prize, however, you will not qualify if you do not get weighed and measured your first meeting or last. Although, you will qualify for the Challenge Champion bead.
