I was soooo excited to have lost everything I gained the week of the 4th. In fact everyone who did gain lost again. This is super exciting to be able to get back on track. Most of our lives can not come to a complete stop when the Holiday's come, most of us will gain during the Holiday's but if we can get back on track right away that is a good thing.

We have been meeting most nights to walk or bike at 6:30pm at the Quartz enterance to the dry canyon. My new goal is to bike in the AM and walk in the PM. If you have not been able to join us yet, come and walk with us, bring a stroller if you have a little one or let them bike along too.

Congrats to our biggest losers
1st Jill Ward 3.47%
2nd Laura Chapman 1.5%
3rd Kate Merritt 1.4%

We have 5 weeks left, I asked everyone what there ulimate goal will be at the end. Time to start thinking about it and if you need to adjust or get your butt in gear it's time.

The Challenge for the week was to add something different to your work out. If you walk, bike, if you bike, walk. Or what ever you want to do. Time to mix up the work outs too. We need to confuse our muscles to get them to start working again.

So what can we say about this past weigh in. Some of us gained and some of us lost. And such is life right? I think I learned that I can't just eat what I want when ever I want. I learned not to drink a 6pk of soda a day. Some of you did great and lost over the holiday and those that did need to pat your selves on your back. You inspire me.

Congrats to our biggest losers:
1st Josephine 2%
2nd Jill S. .8%
3rd Kayanna .6%

I hope I can get my butt in gear again, I was soooo excited for myself the first few weeks but after last week I felt like "what's the point" But I know that's not a good attitude.

I added up all the numbers for the first 6 wks and here is the results with measurements added in. This gives me hope still.

Congrats: If the contest was over as of last thrus these are the results.

OH MY GOSH, your girls rock. Walking each day has made a huge impact on me for sure. I feel better and have more energy. I am sleeping better and just feel all around more energetic.

The Challenge for this week is to keep a FOOD JOURNAL again. And we are adding a new bead. We were going to walk again, but since some of us "Kate Merritt" names will not be mentioned is walking over 10 miles aday. We are going to add a new bead for every 10 miles walked. So start tracking your millage.

Again if you want to walk with us we are meeting at the Quartz end of the Dry Canyon trail at 6:30pm. Most nights that is. Some of us are walking during the day at different times cuz we can't get there at the night walk. We have other friends joining us that are not in the challenge and I love the support we are getting. Chelsea you are an awesome walking buddy btw we love having company of others walking with us. I know when I have others going I am way more likely to go. The weather has just be beautiful too, perfect walking weather.

Kate is amazing me with how many miles she is walking she text me it was a little over 40. I walked over 18 miles last week and I am feeling it with some calf issues. And remember this is ALL in flip flops. LOL I love you Kate.

I know you can do this ladies. If I can you can. I hope we get to see our buddies in Spoaken soon. Jill will be in the area in July some time so we will have to kid nap her and take her walking with us.

If you have not been doing as well as you had hoped start NOW. We still have over 2 months left in this. It's anyones game. So get moving, and get eating better if that's what you need to do. I love you all.

Congrats to our biggest losers.
1st Jill Ward with 1.8%
2nd Jill Stephenson 1.33%
3rd April Huey with 1.28%
4th Kate Merritt with 1.2%

Our Challenge for last week was to walk 5 miles and I think almost everyone pretty much did it. Kate Merritt walked over 30 miles last week, with 11 in one day. You are CRAZY girl. But very impressive.

Our Challenge for this week is WATER, WATER, WATER, drink half of your weight in water in OUNCES not LBS every day.

We are going to get T-shirts ordered, if you want one let me know. If you want to provide your own T its $8 to have the wording put on. If you want a T from them it's $15 for up to XL and $18 for XXL. I need to know ASAP so we can get them ordered. They are nice shirt's, I think called C-sport. Nice heavy duty shirts we have a few that they have made from the past.

Have a great week, if you want to walk with us we meet at the Quartz enterance of the dry canyon and walk to the bridge and back just little over 5 miles. We meet every night at 6:30pm. See you there.

WEEK 1

Total Lbs. lost for our first week was 31.1

Congrats too our biggest losers.
1st place was April Huey with 2.34% LOST
2nd place was Laura Chapman with 2.24% LOST
3rd place was Jill Stephenson with 2.08% LOST

We had some very stiff competition this week. The challenge was to keep a food journal all week and most everyone did it. Good job. This is one of the first steps to being successful with a diet. I am not an expert by any means but I do know that more often then not if you track your food you will have better success.

So anyway, this week we talked about walking every night. We will meet for those who want to at the Quartz end of the Dry Canyon. We are walking about 4 miles and it will take about 1.5 hrs if kidos go.

The challenge this week is to WALK 5 MILES. I know we can do this. I would love to walk that every day if I can but I will try to go at least 3 times a week.

This means that 2 of our top 3 are from out of town. Come on REDMOND GIRLS. I know we can show our friends up north how it is done.
